Sometimes the thing you need to get yourself into a better mindset is a little change. Welcome it, allow it to help you grow. ~Anonymous
Change, the one constant in all our lives; the one you’ve been maneuvering around for over a decade.
So much has changed hasn’t it?
Life. Work. Friends. You.
A long and tiring journey; but, one that’s been so worth it.
Over the last 1.5 years, you’ve loved, lost, discovered, forgotten and experienced a multitude of wonderful and horrific things.
You could say that life has taken a complete 360 degree shift altogether.
And through those moments, good and bad, you’ve had so many epiphanies.
You’re surprised at yourself, aren’t you?
You’re surprised at how you’ve managed to survive.
You’re surprised at how much work you’re willing to put in.
You’re surprised at how much love you’re prepared to offer.
You’re surprised, at yourself; at the woman you’re turning into.
Strong. Tenacious. Persistent. Loving. Vulnerable. Open. Hopeful. Cynical.
Many adjectives, one woman – YOU!
I’m writing to you today, because I want to share a few gentle reminders.
You are familiar with all these mini pearls of wisdom, but a little reminder every once in a while can do wonders.
So, here they are:
RK’s Pearls of Wisdom
- You Are Enough. Stop questioning your worth!
2. Stop doubting yourself all the time!
You ARE working hard. You ARE eating well. You ARE taking care of yourself.
Pat yourself on the back every once in a while.
You are doing well.
I am proud of you!
3. Let people love you!
DON’T question a person’s every move.
DON’T wonder why someone is appreciative of you.
DON’T question why someone loves you.
Accept the love you are offered.
You are worthy of love; bucket loads of it.
4. Smile often, laugh uninhibitedly.
5. Go on many adventures and discover new places!
6. Write often; openly; without restraint.
7. Love yourself!
Remember, you are in-charge of your own destiny.
YOU MAKE YOUR OWN HAPPINESS!
Choose wisely. Live happily. Love abundantly.
And don’t forget, be grateful; for life, love and second chances.
Until next time, fare-thee-well.
P.S: You are beautiful! Just the way you are 🙂
